The worldwide demand for our deep red rose ‘Explorer’ is still increasing. Explorer®, very popular during the Christmas period, is part of the Explorer family containing lovely intense coloured, strong hybrid-tea roses with appealing names as Hot Explorer®, Scarlet Explorer®, Royal Explorer® and of course, plain Explorer®.

The best results are obtained when the variety is grown at an altitude of 2,500 metres. Therefore, some 90% of Explorer roses are produced in Ecuador/Colombia.

Because of their proven vaselife of at least twelve days, their deep red, velvety flower head and their perfect bud presentation, there is growing interest in our Explorer from florists and consumers around the world. The Asian market is now discovering Explorer and the response is very enthusiastic there too.
