Interplant and Schreurs strenghten position in Europe & Middle-East
 
Interplant Roses B.V. and Schreurs Holland B.V. decided to scale up their rose activities in the Middle-East and Europe (excluding Germany & Holland).
By uniting their forces, doing business in these areas will be easier, more efficient and more competitive for all parties concerned. The combination of mutual expertise, the presence of Schreurs in the territory and the quality of rose plants they produce ensure that this is the right strategy for the coming years.
As Interplant and Schreurs devote their mutual capacities in these regions, the growers will be served in the best way possible. Both parties have learned from recent mutual activities in Eastern Europe that this creates a win-win-situation for everyone involved the chain.
The new co-operation will come into force as from 1 January 2012.

Interplant at The International Floriculture Trade Fair (IFTF) 2011
From 2 till 4 November Interplant has shown its latest varieties at the IFTF Show in Vijfhuizen, Holland. By attending the International Floriculture Trade Fair, we had a good opportunity to show our latest novelties, recently introduced varieties as well as our well known existing range. Interplant’s stand was very well attended by the visitors and we look back on a successful event, where our 2 new reds Devotion® and Explorer® were highlighted as well as our new Spray Rose range. During the IFTF Show, Interplant’s facilities in Holland were visited by our clients as well. In our showhouse we displayed our latest spray rose varieties.

Fleur Primeur Award 2011 for Interplant’s Lady Bombastic®
Every year buyers from FloraHolland choose the best rose introduction that entered the market as ‘Fleur Primeur’ the past year. Interplant’s Lady Bombastic®, supplied by Goudriaan Almere, has won the 2nd prize in the category roses. Lady Bombastic® is a spray rose with a unique deep pink colour and a soft-coloured heart.

Open House Interplant Kenya
Interplant’s Open House held on 16 and 17 September 2011 in Naivasha, Kenya, was very successful and was attended by a lot of our valued customers. Our latest varieties were shown in our showhouse.

Expo Flora Russia
Interplant has attended the first edition of Expo Flora Russia, held from 30 August till 1 September 2011 in Moscow. Almost 200 exhibiting flower growers, breeders, suppliers and traders from many different countries have visited this successful 100% specialized trade fair for the floriculture industry in Russia. It was great to experience the substantial interest in Interplant’s spray roses.
During the Expo, the new red hybrid-tea variety ‘Devotion®’ from Ecuador has been launched successfully.
Among the winners of the different quality awards, Interplant’s Safina was awarded Gold in the Best Grower Quality Competition, by grower Subati Flowers from Kenya.
