NEWS: Opening Interplant East-Africa 10 & 11 September 2010

Interplant Roses’s latest development is Interplant Roses (East Africa) Ltd. in Kenya. We are in the process of establishing a new show house, test facility and a facility to service our valued customers with propagation material of the latest new introductions. Interplant Roses East Africa is located in the well-known flower business park in Naivasha, Kenya. After two and a half years of planning, designing, building, and developing we have completed the new facility at the Flower Business Park in Naivasha. We will be opening our doors to our valued customers and friends on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 September 2010 from 9am onwards, lunch and refreshments will be served. NEWS: FLOWERS MOSCOW 2010

The XVI International Exhibition ‘Flowers’2010’ will take place in the All-Russian Exhibition Center (VVC), Moscow, Russia from 2 – 5 September 2010. Flowers Moscow is one of the largest professional exhibition for floriculture and ornamental gardening. Business representatives from all Russian regions and CIS countries will be attending. Participants can also be found in producers and distributors of flowers, plants and nurseries produce.  Visitors will mainly be top executives, owners, professionals from flower and plant producing companies, wholesale an retail trading companies and organizations, landscape architects, florists and designers. NEWS: The International Floriculture Trade Fair (IFTF) 2010

The IFTF, a new International Flower & Plant Expo in the Netherlands, will be held from 3 – 5 November 2010. It will be the industry wide event serving all segments of the floriculture process, especially (exhibiting as well as visiting) growers, propagators, breeders and international trade. Uniting buyers and suppliers from each stage of the floriculture production cycle, the exhibition showcases live products, related dry floral products, trading, transportation, etc. IFTF has found a home in Vijfhuizen, very close to the FloraHolland Flower Auction in Aalsmeer, in the ‘Expo Haarlemmermeer’. Of course, Interplant will show its latest range of spray roses at this important fair. Furthermore, the usage of spray roses will be highlighted: how can spray roses be used in supermarket- and exclusive bouquets? For more information, please contact Interplant or visit www.iftf.nl. NEWS: Water conservation - Interplant’s State-of-the-Art closed circuit recycling system

Ever increasing global populations and their increasing water demands, have focused international attention on water availability to sustain life and industry. A recent focus group of leading Kenyan growers met in Naivasha, Kenya, to review progress made by the Lake Naivash Growers Group, as well as other growers from Mt Kenya and Central Kenya on water conservation. Interplant East-Africa has chosen to invest in a state-of-the-art closed circuit recycling system, based on reverse osmosis and UV light to maintain water quality. Read more...

Open House Interplant
