Interplant Roses Zimbabwe

For more than 20 years, Interplant Roses has had a joint-venture production farm and test facility in Zimbabwe: Luxaflor Roses p/l, located in Concession some 50 miles from Harare. All varieties destined for the Southern African region are tested here and the facility also develops all the propagation material for the region. The company is fairtrade certified and has a large range of top quality Sweetheart roses for the European and American supermarkets. Luxaflor is managed by Rutger Ilsink, another 3rd generation descendant of the founding Ilsink family.

Interplant Roses (East Africa) Ltd.

Interplant Roses’s latest development is Interplant Roses (East Africa) Ltd. in Kenya. We have established a show house, test facility and a facility to service our valued customers with propagation material of the latest new introductions. Interplant Roses East Africa is located in the well-known flower business park in Naivasha, Kenya.

Representation 

Grandiflora Nurseries Pty. Ltd.

Interplant Roses represents Grandiflora Nurseries Pty. Ltd. worldwide, except for Australia and New Zealand. Grandiflora has been breeding roses for more than a decade and mainly concentrates on Intermediate Roses, Hybrid-Tea and Fragrance Roses. Over the past few years Interplant Roses has successfully introduced many of these varieties to the international rose market.

Natural Selections Ltd.

At the end of 2008, Interplant Roses also started representing Natural Selections Ltd. worldwide. Natural Selections Ltd. has an interesting history as a rose breeder and had already introduced some varieties before its venture with Interplant Roses. Today, Natural Selections Ltd. focuses on Sweethearts, Intermediate Roses and Hybrid-Tea Roses. Starting in 2009, Interplant Roses has been successfully sending out trial material of Natural Selections Ltd. to their agents worldwide.
